11-Feb-2023: Tim Merlier confirmed he is one of the fastest riders in the peloton, dashing to victory – his first on the road in the Soudal Quick-Step jersey – on the opening stage of the Tour of Oman, which incidentally was the sprinters’ only opportunity to leave their mark at this edition.
12-Feb-2023: Casper Pedersen became the latest rider to add his name to the Soudal Quick-Step winners’ circle, sprinting to victory out of a select group at the inaugural edition of the Figueira Champions Classic and racking up the team’s 899th win.
15-Feb-2023: Mauri Vansevenant put in a massive show of strength and determination to capture the 900th victory in the history of Soudal Quick-Step, on the very last day of the Tour of Oman. The fact that he did it on one of cycling’s toughest climbs – Jabal Al Akhdar (5.7km, 10.5%) – makes it even more impressive and serves as confirmation of the potential held by the Belgian.
