The 111th edition of the largest cycling race has been going on for a week. After six stages with a mass start, it was time for the individual time trial - a stage that was supposed to show who of the big four (POGAČAR, VINGEGAARD, ROGLIC, EVENEPOEL) was in the best shape to celebrate winning the coveted "YELLOW JERSEY" on July 20 in Nice. Roglic, fifth in the general classification, was the first to set off on the 25-kilometer route, followed by Jonas Vingegaard, Remco Evenepoel and the leader after six stages, Tadej Pogacar. They all rode much faster than the current leader of the time trial, Victor Campenaerts. The current world champion in the individual time trial showed a perfect performance by SOUDAL - QuickStep competitor Remco Evenepoel, who beat Tadej Pogacar by 12 seconds.
