Last Sunday saw another edition of the legendary Paris–Roubaix – one of the toughest Monuments in professional cycling. This year’s race once again proved that success here is not only about strong legs, but also a bit of luck, as punctures and crashes are a natural part of racing across the brutal cobbled sectors.
Jasper Stuyven of Soudal Quick-Step secured a podium spot, confirming his class as a winner of major Spring Classics and a consistent performer at the highest level.
The race was won by Wout van Aert, who delivered an outstanding performance on the cobbles.
