This year’s race started exceptionally outside of Italy, in Bulgaria ๐ง๐ฌ, as part of the effort to promote cycling beyond national borders and showcase the beauty of competition and the highest level of professional racing to fans across Europe.
Stage one was won by Paul Magnier, who perfectly capitalized on the outstanding teamwork delivered by his teammates from Soudal Quick-Step ๐ช
The stage was incredibly fast and intense from the very beginning. Unfortunately, just inside the safety zone, only a few hundred meters before the finish line, a massive crash took down several riders fighting for the sprint. Despite the chaos, Magnier powered to an impressive victory! ๐
For us, this is a moment of great pride and excitement, as this important win secured not only the stage victory, but also three jerseys — including the most prestigious one of all, the iconic Maglia Rosa ๐, awarded to the leader of the general classification.
As the official partner supplying the team with a complete range of bags, backpacks, and accessories, it is a huge honor for us to be part of such incredible success stories. The Wataha keeps moving forward! ๐บ๐ฅ
